ㅤintroㅤ This is a hub for my currently active OCs that exist withing the FFXIV world. These characters have active storylines that are ongoing and can be participated with, and are also willing to be dragged into other's stories or ongoing plotlines.

ㅤdisclaimerㅤ When it comes to the kind of RP I am interested in, I tend to lean towards more immersive story driven characters and plots. I can indulge in cute fluff that does not go anywhere as well! I am picky about tragic or angst heavy plotlines, some characters fit that theme better than others and I am happy to discuss. Some of my characters do come with heavy themes, or darker traits that I am careful to navigate with consent.

I enjoy playing out intimacy and exploring very dark or mature themes with my characters, but I take the boundaries between IC and OOC very seriously. Even if my characters are open to things, I am NOT my characters. I will not entertain character bleed in that department.
I am okay with taking longer interactions to discord. I will adjust to the writing level of the other person.

appearance Tall, she comes off as elegant thanks to her build. But there is a lot of strength in her lithe form, tuned from working with heavy machinery.ㅤpersonalityㅤ Bright, cheerful. Optimistic. She comes off as very polite and calm upon any first meeting, taking initial impressions very seriously. Behind the social niceties, she is as stubborn as they come, devoted to her own desires and interests. Her desire to tinker is second only to her love of wandering to find places far and wide, to learn new cultures, people, dances, and see the stars from every land.

A chronic overworker, Cyrene often forgets to sleep until she passes out, usually at her desk or forge. When she does finally remember to take care of herself, she can be found soaking in a hot tub for hours, refusing to move or do anything. She loves hot baths and soaking as much as she loves working and dancing, and tries to balance her three loves as best she can, even if work wins more often than not.

Backstory For reasons she is always vague on, she quit the Studium, ran off to Ul'dah, and enrolled to learn Black magic instead. Her first foray into life outside the gilded walls of Sharlayan were not as successful as she had hoped, resulting in a time she does not often talk about. But despite the trials, it did lead to one of her longest standing friendships, Ashen. It all ultimately led her to red magic, the perfect balance between magic and sword, an art that called to her. Measured, outside of politics and free from the chains of nation or family, she threw herself into it with gusto and has endeavored to become a master of the craft.She continued to tinker on the side, making a hobby of building and maintaining mechanisms, helping guilds and companies alike. She had no plans of ever going back to Old Sharlayan, but after taking a few commissions from the Ironworks Guild, she became a formal member in time to get involved with the scholars in Labyrinthos. She's now sporting the title of a Systems Aetherologist, using her aether studies and love of machines together, once more in perfect balance.

She loves sharing the stars with others, and will always spend a night under blankets with hot drinks talking about the constellations.Dance Collector Cyrene loves to dance, and she loves learning any and all new dances she can. Local, cultural, social, you name it and she wants to see it, try it, learn it. And she loves even more the chance to dance with other people, sharing in the delight of it.Systems Aetherologist She does take her job very seriously, and is open to commissions to craft or create aether infused devices and materials for people to use. She enjoys the challenge, and is also currently looking for a lab partner interested in helping her out.Restoration consultant Cyrene often works with the cities around Eorzean and beyond to assist in post war restoration efforts. A part of her efforts is restoring critical facilities, but a large portion is providing succor to post war orphans, often through stories and games. OUTER PERSONALITY: Curious, open, and always willing to try new experiences. Ignorant to many traditions and cultures, but enthusiastically willing to learn. He struggles with learning the Eorzean language, and often misses when things are hidden between the lines. ㅤbiographyㅤ Artemis was born in the depths of the Golmore Jungle, a Rava Viera of the Wood named Lirr-Selas. Allowed to run free and develop with the other children, they found joy in learning how to be a warrior for the Wood. From a very young age, they were determined to one day become a Warden. When they manifested, much to their horror, it was a woman's body that greeted them, not the man they knew they should be. With the help of his mother, Artemis was able to transition, allowing them to take the path of a Warder like they always wanted.

Artemis practiced severe isolation after his Mentor completed his training, never returning home. Never seeing another soul for over sixty years until one day by chance he met a Sharlayan scholar wandering the wood.It ended in tragedy, one the Viera does not talk about to this day. The scholar abandoned him, denouncing his cruel and small heart, declaring he regretted ever teaching Artemis magic. Feeling lost and spurned, Artemis left the Wood, seeking Sharlayan and his former Teacher, hoping to find out why they thought empathy, heart, and care were so damn important. Enough to abandon him. He would squeeze the answers out of Eorzea if he had to.

Bright, chirpy, and playful, they have some understanding that the world they knew is long gone and never coming back. She is determined to make the best of her second chance at life, even if sometimes she avoids the dark thoughts. ㅤbiographyㅤThere was once a Miqo'te, during a time long lost to history. In the height of the Allagan Empire's decline, desperate souls may have signed themselves up to be experimented on to further Chimeric research, in exchange for protections. The reasons varied, to protect homes, families, or to avoid being put to war. But it all ended the same, history was at least able to record that much.Limited by the Allagan tech wrapped around her wrists and neck, the creature was held in stasis until adventurers finally breached The Aetherochemical Research Facility in Azys Lla while in conflict with the Garleans. Released as a defense mechanism, this creature decided to hide rather than fight, watching as all the other chimera were slain. She waited until all fighting has ceased before slipping out into this new world, one without her doctor or their directive.

Chimera There is no hiding that this creature is a whole slew of creatures jammed into one, and many of the creatures abilities look to possibly be usable by the creature as well. One has to be careful when dealing with her, lest they end up on the wrong end of a shocking skill. There is also the chance to make use of such things.Skittish Having been awakened to the sounds of fighting and witness to all of their 'brethren' hunted down, the creature is very skittish around weapons being drawn or brandished in any way, and is quick to resort to putting threats to sleep to avoid them. One might have to learn how not to startle the creature so easily.Mimic? The creature seems to possess the urge and ability to steal other peoples' voices. But try as she might, she can't get their cadence down, something just is never quite right.Allagan techwear The creature wears multiple pieces of jewelry blinking with Allagan technology. It looks to be performing some kind of constant regulation on the creature, but is ancient technology lost to time. What would one discover tinkering with it?Apoethcary? She seems to be interested in learning herbs to collect them for both potions and other concoctions, with vague mentions that she may have her own means of making things, if anyone is interested in helping her figure it out.

One of the few ways to possibly see the genuine man.Red Marks One may catch a glimpse of the many red markings that cover T'valis' body, peeking out from his various outfits. They do not seem like tattoos if given closer inspection, and he seems to act like they are not there at all if he can.Smoke and Mirrors Liable to appear or leave a place or situation without warning, he seemingly appears out of nowhere and drifts off just the same. He avoids talking about his job, himself, or really anything of personal note outside of tailoring. For some reason, he prefers to be all glitter and ghost.
